How British IPTV Resellers Can Handle the "I Want to Pay with a Payment Splitter" Request

"Can I pay using SplitIt or Afterpay?" Payment splitters allow customers to pay in instalments. They're convenient for customers. They're complex for you.

In my second year as a British IPTV reseller, a customer asked to use a payment splitter. I said no. I didn't understand it. I lost a sale.

Here's the thing. Your IPTV reseller panel doesn't integrate with payment splitters. You would have to manage instalments manually. That's time-consuming.

Most IPTV reseller operators don't accept payment splitters. They're too complex. The risk is high.

What actually works is a firm policy. "I don't accept payment splitters. I offer monthly payments instead. Monthly is like an instalment plan without the complexity."

A smart British IPTV reseller I knows has never accepted a payment splitter. He offers weekly payments instead. Same effect. Less complexity.

Here's a real-world example. Customer wants to use payment splitter. Reseller A says no. Customer leaves. Reseller B says "I don't accept splitters. I can offer weekly payments of £4 instead of £15 monthly." Customer accepts. Stays. Same IPTV panel . Different flexibility.

The pattern is that payment splitters are a solution looking for a problem. Weekly payments solve the same need.

What about customers who insist on payment splitters? They can use a credit card. Credit cards are payment splitters. They pay monthly to the bank. You get paid in full.

I've never accepted a payment splitter. I've lost zero customers who couldn't use a credit card or weekly payments.

If you're currently considering payment splitters, don't. The complexity isn't worth it.

Payment splitters are for big purchases. Not £15 subscriptions. Offer weekly instead.
